I love Bertrand Russell’s writing and these rules for teaching are as well thought out as you’d expect. Don’t take it from me though, follow rule #5 instead.
I was recently thinking of creating a menswear startup with a couple of friends. It didn’t come to anything but this was (one of many) useful templates for checking through initial plans and making sure there aren’t things you’ve missed.

Ian Hacking’s thoughtful review of the American Psychiatric Association’s reference guide. The guide is useful for recording disorders for payment and management purposes but not for much else and makes an interesting comparison with biological classification.
Short documentary about Richard, a piano tuner who lives outdoors in London. He has a website and blog that give more details about how he lives with so little.
My favourite line in the piece is about his job: “Piano tuning is more of a technical process, but to outsiders it’s an art” – I think that’s true of any creative process.
